I was listening to a recording of an early guitar. The player hit a note and in that single note, as it developed and expanded, it seemed there was a whole world. This is what I aim for, that feeling of substance and of place, almost palpable. I hope I can instill that in the guitars I make so that the player can feel and create their own world.
I voice every guitar with extreme care. I strive to make guitars that are highly responsive with a full balanced sound and a wide dynamic range. If playing my guitar makes you taste marshmallows or gives you some other wonderful sensory experience, then I have achieved my goal.
Classical / Flamenca
The body and bracing are based on traditional designs. My Classical guitars are slightly deeper than the Flamencas.
The MA-D is a dreadnought size guitar with a narrow waist.
The sound is full, very open and well balanced with a deep, rich bass. Perfect all around guitar for picking and strumming.
MA-D
These are OM size guitars. The MA-M has a 14 fret neck, the MA-O has a 12 fret neck.
These guitars are very responsive. The sound is very clear and crisp. The bass is full though not as present as in larger models. Ideal for fingerpicking.
MA-M / MA-O
This 00 size guitar brings a very intimate experience while keeping enough power and projection for an audience.
The bass is clear and rich. The trebles are honey.
MA-00
This is the shape of the original Modified Dreadnought designed by my mentor, Ervin Somogyi.
The sound is full and silky, with a deep bass and shimmery highs.

The electric guitars and basses have similar body shapes. They are very comfortable to play both sitting and standing.
